I received my BS in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University, Korea, in 1998, and my MS from Stanford in 2003, also in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on communications and information theory. From 1998 to 2001, I worked in start-up companies, doing research on wireless local loop systems and power line modem design.

I am currently a Ph.D. student in Wireless Systems Lab under Prof. Goldsmith. My research interest includes communication theory, MIMO (smart antenna) systems, wireless communications, and ad hoc wireless networks.

Research project: Cross-Layer Design of Ad-hoc Wireless Networks for Real-Time Media
